Who we are
Al Bait Al Shami Restaurant & Cafe, Al Garhoud – Sheikh Rashid Road, Dubai, UAE. This policy explains what we collect when you use albaitalshami.com (table bookings, delivery, external catering, meals for companies and contests) and how we use it.
What we collect
- The details you type in our forms: name and title, phone / WhatsApp number, email (if asked), delivery or event address, the location link you share, the date, time, number of guests and what you order, and any notes you write.
- Basic technical data needed to run the site safely (IP address, browser type) and, if enabled, anonymous visit statistics.
Why we use it
- To receive, prepare, deliver and confirm your order or booking; to contact you about it by WhatsApp, phone or email; to send your booking / order messages and reminders; to prevent abuse of the site; and to improve our service.
- We do not sell your data and we do not send you advertising messages without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the orders: our website host, our WhatsApp messaging provider (SendPulse / Meta WhatsApp Business) to send you order messages, and our delivery drivers (name, phone, address and location of the order only). They use it only for that purpose.
Saved on your device
- If you tick "remember my details", your name, phone and address are kept in your own browser (not on our server) to fill the forms next time. You can remove them any time with "forget my details".
- The site uses only the cookies it needs to work. If we add statistics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), they collect anonymous visit data.
How long we keep it
Order and booking records are kept for our accounts and records as required by UAE law, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop contacting you, by calling +971 4 282 6665 or emailing info@albaitalshami.com. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
